Management consultant for Group Business Development in Salling Group

Group Business Development is the hub for all strategic work within Salling Group, orchestrating strategy planning and reporting, investigating strategic options and executing strategic projects across our organization. You will join a dedicated team of 6 colleagues striving to ensure our successful strategic development. Our team consists of a mix of recent Graduates and more experienced management consultants and retail experts. We are a small team relative to the size of Salling Group meaning you will work only on the most important and complex strategic projects for the group. Hence you will become an integral part of the team and get a unique opportunity to play your part in the overall strategic development in Salling Group. 
 
As part of a dedicated team in a versatile work environment, your tasks include

  • Conducting analyses and other decision support
  • Solving problems in a structured and analytical manner
  • Driving your work streams independently
  • Communicating insights and results to senior decision makers
  • Ensuring sustainable and practical solutions to our business challenges

 
You have a proven performance track record including

  • Excellent academic performance (Cand.merc, Cand.oecon or similar)
  • Relevant activities or work experience besides the studies
  • Strong independent drive and a willingness to learn
  • Excellent team player who brings humor, energy and can-do-attitude
  • Strategic mind-set and an ability to convert complex problems into pragmatic and practical solutions
  • Ability to and interest in working across functions and disciplines 
  • Experience within Management Consulting or Business Development is a plus but not a pre-requisite
