About the IT Graduate Program
The program is an intense sequence of continuous challenges providing you with a broad range of skills within the area of IT. Being part of transforming new business ideas into IT solutions or ensuring that IT operations run smoothly. All tasks that make a difference for our business and customers.
Within the two-year program you will have three rotations in the IT. In each rotation, you will be given a position with clear responsibilities for assigned tasks. The flow and content of the rotations will be tailored individually to match your profile, aspirations and support your development as well as the business priorities.
Examples of potential rotations:
As a Business Analyst you will get a thorough understanding of our processes. It will requre you to identify the right solutions for an ever faster moving business environment. As a team member in one of our Scrum Teams you will work close with Solution Architects and developers and get the opportunity to get hands-on experience with state-of-the-art SAP versions, cloud technology and potential new emerging technologies like AI/ML.
As a Project Manager you will be working with all aspects of Project Management from project initiation with planning and budgeting to managing the delivery stages with build, test and roll-out. Given the complexity of our projects it will typically include cross-team coordination, managing agreements with 3rd party suppliers, risk assessment, cost monitoring and facilitation of the Steering Group with members from the Top Management of Salling Group.

- You have recently graduated or are about to graduate with a master´s degree well above average
- You have relevant work experience either gained during your studies or you have up to a maximum of one year’s full time experience after your graduation
- You have excellent language skills in English - fluent both spoken and written
- You are ambitious, goal oriented and highly motivated and committed to succeed
- You have analytical skill with the ability to understand complex problems and identify alternative solutions
- You are able to deliver high-quality results on time
- You thrive in a role with many different stakeholders
- You have above average communicational skills and an open mind allowing you to work and communicate with colleagues in many departments
- You might have a natural interest and curiosity about emerging technologies
Being a Graduate at Salling Group
We will make sure we challenge you from day one and give you the opportunity to use your theoretical knowledge and transform this into analytical problem-solving by giving you daily tasks and project work with clear responsibilities for deliveries and deadlines. As a start of the IT Graduate Program you will be part of a comprehensive IT onboarding to ensure a broad insight into both the IT landscape and business processes.
Together with the other graduates you will participate in different learning modules to support your personal and professional development. You will be assigned a mentor in the individual rotations. A Career Coach will follow you throughout the program and will help you identify the next steps in your Salling Group career.
During the program, you will be based at Salling Group’s headquarter in Aarslev near Aarhus.
Salling Goup uses analysis and profiling tools as part of our recruitment and assessment process. If we find your background and application interesting we will invite you to take part in the assessment for the graduate position.
