Frontend Developer, Salling Group Tech

We are seeking a highly motivated and collaborative Frontend Developer to join our dedicated development team. This role is your opportunity to build foundational professional experience while contributing to the development of high-performance retail and e-commerce applications for well-known Danish brands like Bilka, Føtex, and BR.

You will be expected to focus heavily on learning, adopting best practices, and growing your skillset under the close guidance of experienced mentors.

Key Responsibilities and Learning Focus
As a Developer, you will operate with direct assistance and concentrate on building fundamental development skills:

• Development Lifecycle: Participate in the full software development cycle, from design to deployment, for tasks of low to medium complexity, working with assistance.
• Coding Standards: Focus on learning best practices in coding and development and continually seek out new technologies and methods.
• Quality & Review: Actively review code and incorporate feedback received from senior team members.
• Testing: Understand and adopt general testing principles and processes.
• Planning & Execution: Take responsibility for solving your own assignments and be able to manage the planning of tasks of low complexity.
• Collaboration: Work closely with mentors for continuous improvement and share knowledge within the department.

Technical Foundation

• Understanding of software development and code lifecycle.
• Foundational knowledge of core web technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS).
• Willingness to learn and work with our modern stack: React, Next.js, Vercel, and Tailwind CSS.
