IT Solution Consultant - IT Store Operations & Production

We’re seeking a new colleague with a solid IT foundation to join our team. In this role, you’ll collaborate with Process Experts, UX Designers, and Software Developers to deliver cutting-edge IT solutions. You’ll play a key role in building a robust IT infrastructure capable of processing millions of daily data requests with real-time responsiveness for our end-users.

What we offer
The IT Store Operation and Production team is responsible for delivering IT solutions that support efficient store operations, such as receiving goods, in store picking, scrapping, and inventory counting, as well as IT solutions for production areas like Butcher, Deli, and Bakery across all Salling Group stores.

Our team consists of Process Specialists, a Solution Architect, a Product Owner and a Scrum Master working closely together with business to ensure impactful solutions. We manage and develop 13 different applications, 11 of which are built in-house. We embrace an innovative and agile mindset and are always curious about new technologies, including AI and ML.

Your roll

• Act as a link between Process Specialists, UX Designers, and offshore Software Developers
• Drive IT projects independently while collaborating within a project team
• Define problems, outcomes, and scope to ensure smooth handover to developers
• Challenge technical/business requirements to enhance quality and value of our IT deliveries
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with technical professionals and store employees

Your experience & personal profile
We are looking for a technically skilled individual with hands-on experience, professionally or as a hobbyist, in technologies like MS SQL, .NET, Angular, Native Android Development, Azure, or similar platforms (experience with SAP-MM and NoSQL databases is a plus). You are eager to use your expertise to shape IT development while understanding the business processes our solutions support. You thrive in a collaborative team environment, bring a proactive attitude, and can independently drive tasks. With a business-oriented mindset and a passion for IT and retail, you are naturally curious and always seeking to grow and improve.
