About the job
As a Java Developer at Salling Group, you will be involved in designing, developing, and maintaining a portfolio of Java-based applications. In addition to developing new features, you will also focus on improving the existing portfolio as well as continuously sharing knowledge within the team

You will work with some of the latest technologies in a service oriented architecture based on microservices,  all in Google Cloud. Your responsibilities include working with: 

• RESTful web services/API
• Docker and JSON
• CI/CD
• Github

You will join a team of dedicated developers, who create innovate features for our eCommerce and digital platforms. The team takes full responsibility for their platforms, from idea and design to code review, testing , deployment to follow up.

We expect you have a few years of experience and a relevant technical background  You have a curious nature and a natural drive. You are analytical and methodical in your approach, and you take pride in producing well written code. You deliver results and you always strive to improve. At the same time, you believe in teamwork and collaboration 

You thrive in a dynamic environment and have excellent collaboration skills, strong empathy, and the ability to work with multiple cultures. You can coordinate the work with various stakeholders on different levels of the organization.
