Internship, Data Analyst, Customer Program - Loyalty Program

We are looking for a proactive and analytical Intern to join the Customer Program – Loyalty team at Salling Group. As our new Data Analyst Intern, you will turn complex data into clear insights. Your primary goal is to analyze customer behavior and program performance to support strategic decision-making. You will join a young, dynamic team in Brabrand, Salling Group HQ, dedicated to optimizing the shopping experience through data.

Tasks: You will play a key role in building our data infrastructure and supporting growth. Your daily tasks will include:

• Analysis & insights: Analyzing customer segments and campaign metrics to provide actionable recommendations.
• Data engineering: Automating data flows and ensuring data reliability and quality.
• Visualization: Building dashboards to share loyalty insights with key stakeholders.
• Collaboration: Working cross-functionally with IT/Digital, Commercial and Brands to execute and optimize loyalty initiatives.
• Ad-hoc Support: Handling data requests to assist with daily strategic decisions.

Who are you? We are looking for a business-minded problem solver with a relevant educational background (e.g., Business, Economics, or Statistics).

• Technical skills: You are proficient in SQL, Python, or R. Experience with Snowflake, BigQuery, or SAP Datasphere is a plus.
• Visualization: Familiarity with Power BI, or SAP Analytics Cloud is an advantage.
• Mindset: You are structured, ambitious, and eager to learn. You are comfortable handling large datasets and translating them into understandable overviews and insights.
• Team player: You have an outgoing attitude and can manage multiple priorities while collaborating across the organization.
