Time & Attendance Consultant - Salling Group IT
At Salling Group, we are driven by continuous improvement and digital excellence. Within IT People & Communication, we are now looking for a skilled Time & Attendance consultant to further strengthen our Time & Attendance initiatives.
You will join a high-performing HRIS team delivering solutions to more than 60,000 employees across Denmark, Germany, Poland. Our strategic roadmap includes several large-scale impactful implementations and optimization initiatives — offering strong opportunities for both professional growth and hands-on impact.
Your Role & Key Responsibilities
As part of the IT People & Communication team, you will play a central role in developing and operating Salling Group’s Workforce Management solutions with a strong focus on Time & Attendance and operational excellence.
Your main focus will be on UKG Pro WFM, our primary Workforce Management platform, already in use across the majority of Salling Group business units including Bilka, BR, and føtex, and currently being rolled out in Netto Poland and piloted in Netto Denmark to replace existing systems.
You will be responsible for:
• Driving configuration, implementation, and continuous optimization of UKG Pro WFM
• Contributing to a major upcoming initiative around forecasting and automated workforce scheduling
• Leading improvements within Time & Attendance and Workforce Management
• Supporting stable daily operations and ensuring high system quality
• Collaborating with external vendors and internal stakeholders on development and rollouts
• Working in a structured manner with requirements, testing, and governance
Your Profile
We are looking for a seasoned Time & Attendance specialist with demonstrated expertise. Experience within retail is beneficial but not essential. A solid understanding of HR IT solutions and related software is advantageous.
You thrive in a role where business needs meet technology and bring:
• Domain knowledge within Workforce Management; familiarity with UKG Pro WFM is considered a plus
• Strong communication skills across both technical and business stakeholders
• A collaborative and proactive team mindset
• Approach tasks methodically, with attention to detail and quality — even when juggling multiple tasks
• Possess knowledge of agile practices; experience with SCRUM is preferable.
• Hold a master’s degree in IT or demonstrate strong technical competence.
• Exhibit service-mindedness and adaptability to end-user needs.
• Professional fluency in English (written and spoken)
What We Offer
• A central role in some of Salling Group’s most exciting and strategically important Workforce Management transformation initiatives with real business impact
• A professional yet informal working culture with strong collaboration
• A highly competent team of 11 colleagues in an international environment
• Strong team spirit with onsite presence required 3-5 days per week.
• A position in a modern IT & Digital organization of approx. 300 professionals
• Access to training and development programs supporting your career growth
