Being a Graduate in Salling Group's IT & Digital department
We will make sure we challenge and develop you from day one and give you the opportunity to use your theoretical knowledge and transform this into analytical problem-solving by giving you daily tasks and project work with clear responsibilities for deliveries and deadlines. To ensure a good start in the IT & Digital Graduate Program you will be part of a comprehensive onboarding to understand the dependencies and collaboration across the departments.

You will also be a part of a graduate network where you share experience, insight and knowledge and participate in social activities with other graduates.

The program starts in September 2025 and is an intense sequence of continuous experiences providing you with a broad range of skills and opportunities within the area of IT. Within the two-year program you will go through three rotations within our IT & Digital department. In each rotation, you will be given a position with clear responsibilities for assigned tasks. The flow and content of the rotations will be tailored individually to match your profile, aspirations and support your development as well as the business priorities.

Together with the other graduates you will participate in different learning modules to support your personal and professional development. You will be assigned a mentor in the individual rotations. During the program, you will be based at Salling Group’s headquarter in Aarslev near Aarhus.

Your profile
We are looking for the right mix of personal and professional skills. If you can identify with the skills outlined below, then you might be our next IT & Digital Graduate.

Professional skills

• You have recently graduated or are about to graduate with a master´s degree
• You have relevant work experience either gained during your studies or you have up to a maximum of one year’s full time experience after your graduation
• You have great language skills - fluent in English both spoken and written 

Personal skills

• You are motivated, goal oriented and highly committed to succeed
• You have analytical skills with the ability to understand complex problems and identify alternative solutions
• You have above average communicational skills and an open mind allowing you to work and communicate with colleagues in many departments and thrive in a role with many different stakeholders
• You might have a natural interest and curiosity about emerging technologies or retail 

Recruitment process
Salling Group uses analysis and profiling tools as part of our recruitment and assessment process. If we find your background and application interesting we will invite you to take part in the assessment for the graduate position.

Please send your application through the link on this page as soon as possible and no later than the 2nd of March 2025. On the basis of the application and CV final candidates will be invited to participate in our Graduate Recruitment Night on the 13th of March 2025.

After the Graduate Recruitment Night we will select the candidates and invite them to a job interview. Afterwards we will select 3 candidates who will be our IT & Digital Graduates starting September 1st 2025.
