Retail Media Product Lead, Salling Group

About the Role: We are looking for a Retail Media Product Lead to join our newly established Retail Media team. As a Retail Media Product Lead, you'll be part of a team focused on building the Retail Media setup and product portfolio for Salling Group, and help building great new partnerships with agencies and brands. You will support the coordination, planning, and implementation of new media capabilities and act as an in-house subject matter expert.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement innovative advertising products and services tailored for the retail sector and build on our already extensive offering.
  • Ensure and develop an effective operation around the existing processes for a professional delivery of campaigns across all advertising channels - fx in-store signage, on-/offsite and gamification.
  • Further development of the existing process landscape and professionalization of our business in collaboration with our sales and colleagues in Salling Group, to ensure optimal cooperation and coordination.
  • Oversee the lifecycle of each advertising product, from inception to market launch, and manage ongoing enhancements based on market feedback and technological advancements.
  • Collaborate with sales, operations, and internal/external partners to ensure product offerings are well-integrated into the broader retail media strategy and across our formats – e.g. Bilka, Føtex, BR and Netto.
  • Performing sales enablement tasks and potentially join in sales and partnership meetings.
  • Help evaluate and implement Adtech & Retail Media Tech/Vendor solutions.


Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Experience in media industry.
  • Experience in managing agency relationships or from the agency side.
  • Ability to create new product business cases and launch new products to market.
  • Confidence to meet with partners at all levels and the ability to influence and challenge decisions.
  • Understanding of commercial value and experience in dealing with it.
  • Master’s degree in business or economics (e.g., cand.oecon, cand.merc, cand.scient, or similar).
  • A couple of years of experience working in an agency or in a similar role, or relevant experience.
  • Curious by nature.
