The Salling Foundations

The Salling Foundations consists of two funds: Købmand Herman Sallings Fond and Købmand Ferdinand Sallings Mindefond.

Salling Group's founder, Herman Christian Salling had one vision: Always to have the customer's needs in the center.

This remains the focus of the Salling Group to this day.

With the establishment of the Salling Foundations, Herman Salling took a decisive step to take greater responsibility for the world outside the company.

The business purpose relates to the commercial activities in the ownership of Salling Group. A part of the company's profit is then donated, as part of the foundation's distribution purpose, to projects and initiatives within, among other things, art, culture, sport, church, education and charitable purposes.

All with the aim of improving everyday life - for the benefit and joy of the many.
