Since 2005, Salling Group and DanChurchAid have worked together to help and empower people in need around the world. Together, we have launched initiatives in Denmark that focus on responsible consumption and a more sustainable everyday life – benefiting both Danes and people in the world's poorest countries.

The partnership revolves around making our every day better. The choices we make in our daily lives – when we commute to and from work, when we stand in front of the refrigerator in the store, and when we are in the kitchen – matter. They have an impact across the globe. Here and now, today and tomorrow – and far into the future.

That is why we collaborate on food waste through the Wefood stores, where we save tons of food from being thrown away each year, while DanChurchAid's second-hand shops receive large amounts of surplus clothing from customers in Bilka and føtex every year. The revenue from both efforts help create a better future for people experiencing the biggest consequences of climate change.

Salling Group and DanChurchAid stand together when disasters strike the world with inhuman strength and brutality – from the tsunami in Southeast Asia to the earthquake in Nepal and the war in Ukraine. Or when we jointly remind Danes of the forgotten crises in Syria, DR Congo, and Sudan, where millions of people are fleeing their homes.

Finally, Salling Group supports DanChurchAid's national collection every year, where more than 10,000 Danes collectively spend a Sunday in March raising money for people affected by war and disasters.
